Course Description
In this episode, Michelle is joined by Kimberly Delude, MA, CCC-SLP, author of two popular series: “Freddie the Fly”, recipient of the Counselor’s Choice Award, and “Fairy Tales 2.0”, recipient of the Massachusetts State Clinical Achievement Award. Kim shares functional effective strategies that she has used with her students and their caregivers to establish and improve buy-in for carryover therapy strategies, strategies to increase student/teacher engagement for carryover activities in the general education classroom…as well as fabulous “how-to” details to embed literacy and use of printed word into speech-sound disorder and expressive language disorder treatment. Objective

Kimberly Delude, MA, CCC-SLP
Kimberly Delude, MA, CCC-SLP, worked for a national sports organization before earning her MA in Communication Disorders at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Kimberly has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association, and works as a speech-language pathologist in the public schools. She is the author of two popular series: Freddie the Fly and Fairy Tales 2.0. Freddie the Fly is published by Boys Town Press and was a recipient of the Counselor’s Choice Award. The stories help teach a variety of social skills in fun and interactive ways that don’t feel like learning. Fairy Tales 2.0 is a series created for caregivers for at home practice. It was a Massachusetts State Clinical Achievement Award recipient.
