Course Description

In this episode, Michelle is joined once again by the petite powerhouse that is Cheris Frailey MA CCC-SLP, Program Director with the Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations for the State of Colorado, in Jefferson County, CO, who shared insights on Conflict Resolution in Episode 26. Today Cheris shifts gears and focuses on bringing balance to our clinical selves. We uncover the true definition of balance, why we seek it and need all 4 areas of it, and then how to apply our new understanding of balance into our daily grind. Take a breath, run a bit slower, turn the volume up, and let her soothing words hit just the right spot!

Cheris Frailey, MA CCC-SLP

Cheris Frailey is a certified speech-language pathologist with experience working in hospitals, private practice, skilled nursing and education settings. She currently is the Interstate Compact and Legal Affairs Coordinator for the Department of Regulatory Agencies for the State of Colorado. She previously worked at ASHA as the Director of State Education and Legislative Advocacy serving as the state liaison to the southern region by providing resources, assistance and support regarding legislative and regulatory issues in addition to guidance to state association leaders, members and government agencies. She has received extensive training in facilitation, conflict management and mediation. She currently serves as a volunteer mediator for the City of Littleton and Jefferson County in Colorado.
