Co-Presenter

Carla Brown, MSP CCC-SLP

A native of South Carolina, Carla Brown brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all of her patients. After obtaining her Masters degree at the University of South Carolina, Carla shared her skills and passion for her profession with the residents in southeastern NC. An entrepreneurial spirit and a void in her then-home community of Whiteville, NC led her to create a private practice in 1997, SLP Services, Inc., allowing her to serve pediatric through geriatric populations, and utilize her specialty training in the area of brain injury. When not striving to provide excellence to her patients, Carla enjoys spending time with her hubby and therapy dog-in-training, Grizz, practicing Ashtanga yoga, walking on the beach, and sipping on a “yummy” glass of wine.
